FLYERS FOUNDATION
Empowering Our Community Through Volleyball and Beyond
What do we do?
The Flyers Foundation focuses on three core pillars: Youth Athletic Development, Community Engagement, and Education & Scholarship Programs. Through these initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the South Florida community.
-
We host free and low-cost volleyball clinics and camps for kids in the community. These programs not only teach volleyball skills but also instill values like teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Our goal is to build confidence and character in young athletes through the sport of volleyball.
Through mentorship opportunities, we guide local youth toward success, helping them develop valuable life skills both on and off the court. From leadership workshops to career talks, we aim to prepare the next generation for their futures.
-
We are actively involved in organizing community events, such as beach cleanups, charity volleyball tournaments, and local outreach programs. These events are designed to give back to the community that has supported us from the start while fostering a spirit of togetherness and service.
We collaborate with local schools, community centers, and nonprofits to bring volleyball and educational resources to underserved populations. These partnerships allow us to provide access to sports and development opportunities to those who need them most.
-
Every year, the Flyers Foundation awards a scholarship to a graduating senior who exemplifies excellence in both academics and athletics. This scholarship helps support their future education and encourages continued success both on and off the volleyball court.
In addition to the annual Flyers Scholarship, we offer scholarships to promising young athletes who may not have the financial means to pursue their passion for volleyball. These scholarships provide access to training, camps, and equipment, helping these athletes reach their full potential.
Helping our community has always been at the heart of everything we do, and for me, it goes far beyond volleyball. I’ve always believed that sports have the unique power to connect people, to inspire hope, and to create opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. When I see young people stepping onto the court for the first time, I see more than just athletes—I see future leaders, mentors, and changemakers in the making. It’s about teaching them to believe in themselves, to push past their limits, and to know that they are capable of so much more than they realize.
At the Flyers Foundation, our mission is rooted in this belief. It’s about giving back to the community that has supported us every step of the way, and it’s about showing the next generation that they have a place in this world, no matter their background or challenges. We want to be a source of empowerment, a place where kids can come to learn, to grow, and to feel supported—whether it’s through volleyball, mentorship, or simply by being part of something bigger than themselves.
Every day, I am reminded of the impact we can have when we come together with purpose and passion. Whether we’re hosting a youth clinic, awarding a scholarship, or organizing a community event, my hope is that we’re not just building better athletes—we’re building better people, and ultimately, a stronger, more connected community.
